KiN is now Solblomma

Welcome to solblomma.com. Due to the many artists calling themselves Kin, Solblomma will be the new artist name. It’s also a new start in the way that new songs are being made and published here. So far you can see 2 new videos, Aspirin & Little Mammi. The songs are still unreleased and might be reworked and remixed before a final release.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are underway and going good.
The technical plan is to use Mainstage 2 on a Mac Book Pro with a RME Fireface UC. We will plug in vocals, guitar, bass and midi keyboard and run it all through Mainstage 2 with some backingtracks. There might be a drummer joining the setup at a later stage. On Monday we will work with a new guitarist for the first time.
The current lineup is: Vocals: kiN, Bass:Håkan, Guitar,Synt,backingvocals: Björn

Contemplating a name change

We at the kiN team are talking about changing the artist name. Since there are at least 6 artist going by the name Kin we have been discussing this for a while now. Before kiN became kiN the working name was Niki kiN or Nika kiN. We are still thinking about this. Nothing decided yet. A suggestion that came up was Kinoo. A more unique name would be better in many ways. For example, it would make it easier to find kiN on Google and Youtube:) Probably we will then change the url of this site as well.
If you have any great suggestions you are welcome to let us know!
Currently kiN is rehearsing for live performances. Expect to see and hear samples from rehearsals here in a while.

New Site Up!

Finally, version 1.0 of the all new kinplanet.se is up and running. We’re sure you’ll find it better and easier to navigate!
Probably some minor adjustments and additions will come in the following weeks. A completely new addition is the webshop for all available KiN CD:s. We are very happy about this and hope you’ll be too!
